Puriste CBD Brand Identity

Puriste is a new CBD edibles company located in Monterey California. They approached Ad Astra about designing their packaging for their CBD Gummy line of products. They plan on eventually providing consumers with 5 flavors of CBD gummies, we started with Vanilla.

The team over at Puriste met with us and explained they wanted to start a line of CBD products aimed at targeting active and health conscious older women who enjoy exercise and a healthy lifestyle. They also explained how much they loved the Purism art of the early 20th century.

Our work with Puriste involved color scheming, logo creation, and custom packaging design services.

We started with colors until we were able to choose the colors that we thought would most appeal to women over the age of 55 with active lifestyles.

The next challenge was the logo, something soft yet eye-catching with a nice scripted font was the guidance we were given and it did not take long to hit on the exact look Puriste CBD was looking for.

The last challenge was working through the COVID-19 outbreak, which overall went successfully thanks to modern technology and remote meeting capabilities.

Branding a Startup CBD Company For Active Older Women

The challenge with branding startups is always the first sketches, or in other words where to begin. We began by studying the Purism art movement as well as CBD and cannabis products that targeted women over the age of 55 with active lifestyles and an interest in leading a healthier lifestyle.

The staff was very helpful, which is always a plus when branding a startup. The collaboration on this project was what made this all happen so easily.
